200 kS/s/ch sampling, automatic bullet-proof anti-aliasing ...
The 24-bit ADCs on every channel are the sigma-delta type which have strong anti-aliasing filters built right in. There is an analog AAF filter set to the Nyquist frequency of the top sample rate, plus AAF filters which are set automatically when you change the sample rate. Select any sample rate up to 200 kS/s/ch (simultaneous), for incredible ALIAS-FREE dynamic recordings. Counter inputs - digital inputs - CAN BUS inputs ...
There are two advanced counter inputs built in as standard (we use LEMO connectors for maximum reliability). Each one can be configured as a counter, timer, RPM converter, encoder input, and more. These inputs are 100% synchronous with the analog inputs, of course. And you can order 6 more advanced counters, for a total of 8 of them, to be built into this model.
Each counter LEMO connector also has three digital TTL input lines on it, so there are 6 synchronous digital inputs as standard (up to 24 when you order the additional 6 counters).
Finally, in addition there are two high speed CAN BUS interfaces, so that you can connect up to the data busses in all kinds of cars, trucks, aircraft, trains, and more. Everything is recorded synchronously to a single data file within DEWESoft, which is included with the DEWE-50-USB2-8.
Easy notebook connectivity
Plug the DEWE-50-USB2-8 into your notebook computer via USB 2.0, and connect the power. This model runs from 10-32 VDC, and includes an AC adapter included. You will have a system up and running within moments. You can add a webcam to your computer, to add powerful VIDEO information to your recorded data.
Expandability
There are several ways that you can expand on the DEWE-50-USB2-8. First, using the 43-SYNC option, you can combine two systems together and use them as if they were one single 16 channel module. The rear panel of the first DEWE-50-USB2-8 has the connectors that you need to power and sync the second unit - even the USB interface is there. There is no loss of performance when you connect two units together: you can still sample all channels at 200 kS/s simultaneously!
